Odd Days Project

Odd Days Project 2009

The plan to take at least one photo every two days and post that photo on the odd day of the month. It’s exactly like the “photo-a-day” project which is very popular in photography circles, but it’s easier because you have 2 days to take a photo, not just one.

Are old friends allowed in on your odd days project? I would love to be more aware of not forgetting the little things that happen on the day to day basis.

of course! … there’s no such thing as old friends … just “long time” friends :)

I’m interested… but then I will have pounds of guilt because I never do anything with the pictures!! I am years behind in my scrap booking!!! What do you do with your pictures??? Your house must be full of pics, right?? I’ll think about this great idea!! I’d be better off taking the time to take care of all of the old pictures on a regular schedule. Maybe you have challenged me to my own kind of Odd Day project!!

Sadly, no … i don’t have a lot of pictures on display at the house. I’m about as lazy as it gets. I have seas of disks and hard drives full of images that I’ll probably never look at again.

In this case, at the end of the year it was be easy enough to have all the images printed and added to a photo album (and should cost less than $30.00).

A friend of mine does that – in fact, we had a family gathering on Saturday, she took pics, and by Wednesday had already printed out a nice little album with about 3-4 pics per page capturing the event. Nice for special events… I suppose an easy way to capture the year for the kids. I’ve tried to do that with videos… incorporate the pics there too, but again, have fallen WAY behind! Looking forward to seeing your pics through the year! You take fantastic shots! (It helps that you have two beautiful girls to use in your shots!)
