Kris, Jessamyn, and Abigail Milo

At some point my movie and food reviews have been forgotten about … oh well. Anyway, Jessamyn and I went to the Barnsider last night for dinner (The Melting Pot in Crossgates was booked solid - but we want to check that place out). I had forgotten how good the food was at the Barnsider … unbelievable. Fried Calamari for an appetizer, salad bar, New York Sirloin (14oz and rare), rice pilaf, and apple crisp for dessert. The wife had fried calamari, salad bar, New York Sirloin (7oz and med rare) and baked scallops, baked potato, and tiramaso for dessert. Stinkin’ awesome food! Add a couple of glasses of wine and some ginger ale’s and the tab came to $95 (before tip), but man it was good. It’s not often we go out to someplace really nice … we had a great time (Abi’s nana had babysitting duty for a few hours).
