I&#8217;m happy that every time I&#8217;ve gained weight &#8230; eventually &#8230; I&#8217;ve gotten disgusted with myself and been able to lose the extra pounds, but what makes me sad is the fact I continue to fluctuate by like 20 pounds over the course of a few years. I absolutely hate myself when I start to get heavy, and yet, I&#8217;m unable to do anything about it until I&#8217;m nearly out of control (I&#8217;m exaggerating a bit, but you get what I&#8217;m saying). I&#8217;d like to able to say that this time, things are going to be different, but in all honesty &#8230; I&#8217;m not sure if that&#8217;s true &#8230; but I hope so.</p>
<p>I can shake my wedding ring off my hand if I try hard enough, hopefully that doesn&#8217;t become an issue. I won&#8217;t get it resized. I&#8217;d rather just buy another one, a cheap one &#8230; really cheap. Who looks at guys wedding rings? No one, that&#8217;s who.</p>
<p>I need to buy new clothes. I&#8217;ve been waiting for this time to buy clothes in the hopes that I&#8217;d be back into medium size shirts (large shirts are way too long, but I needed the girth for my tubby bigness). Now that I can fit medium clothes again, I&#8217;m still nervous to buy clothes in case I gain weight again. Jeez, I&#8217;m like a chick.</p>
<p>Anyways &#8230; that&#8217;s all I&#8217;ve got &#8230; except &#8230; please pray for Japan &#8230; right now</p>

We&#8217;ll recap everyone from youngest to oldest:</p>
<ul>
<li>Dan-o &#8230; He&#8217;s been tougher than Abi to get into a regular sleeping pattern. He still doesn&#8217;t sleep thru the night, but he is getting better (sometimes). He&#8217;s a chunk like Abi was, even bigger I think. He&#8217;s a very happy baby now, always smiling (unless we&#8217;re trying to get him to sleep, then he cries).</li>
<li>Abi &#8230; At the risk of sounding like &#8220;one of those parents&#8221; &#8211; She&#8217;s unbelievably smart for a 2-1/2 year old. You should see her work my iPod touch! Her current favorite shows are Veggie Tales and Curious George. Her favorite books include &#8220;How the Grinch Stole Christmas&#8221;, &#8220;The Cat in the Hat&#8221;, and &#8220;Curious George&#8217;s Birthday Surprise&#8221;.</li>
<li>Pro &#8230; She&#8217;s back to work after 3 months maternity leave. She rocking weight watchers (we both are) and looking great. She&#8217;s currently waiting for Apple to announce the new iPad 2 so she can buy one and be the coolest kid on the block.</li>
<li>Myself &#8230; Weight Watchers, I&#8217;m down 12 pounds and have 10 to go. I haven&#8217;t run at all since late fall and I don&#8217;t plan to run again until March. I hope I&#8217;m able to pick it up easily when I start again. I&#8217;m addicted to my iPod touch. I beat Angry Birds and I&#8217;m almost done with Angry Birds Seasons. I was up to almost 100 apps on my ipod, but I got rid of a few. I just recently became addicted to <a href="http://instagr.am/" target="_blank">instagram</a> and I&#8217;m patiently waiting for famous people to jump on board so I can live vicariously thru them. I need to get a new computer cuz the one we have isn&#8217;t powerful enough to handle RAW files and HD video from my Canon 60D <img src='http://www.miloandpro.com/wordpress/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':(' class='wp-smiley' /> </li>

<ul>
<li>The Odd Days Project is over. I have one more photo to post and that&#8217;s done. I&#8217;m not sure what photo project to start next.</li>
<li>I may start competing over at <a href="http://www.dpchallenge.com/profile.php?USER_ID=9821" target="_blank">dpchallenge</a> again this year.</li>
<li>I&#8217;m in a biggest loser contest with some family. I currently have ballooned back up to 160. My goal is 145 by March 31st &#8230; that&#8217;s only 5 pounds per month, how hard could it be?</li>
<li>I&#8217;ve slowly started getting back to the gym (very slowly).</li>
<li>I plan to run a 1/2 marathon this year, even though at the moment I can barely squeak out a 5k on a treadmill (which is much easier)</li>

After that post I actually lost 3 more pounds, putting me at 137. Over the past 6 months I&#8217;ve more or less stayed right around 140 &#8211; 142 &#8230; not too bad for winter time. Lately, however, I&#8217;ve balooned back up to 147 pounds. This situation is unacceptable. Time to Re-implement my rules:</p>
<ol>
<li>No eating after 7pm</li>
<li>No snacking &#8230; 3 meals per day</li>
</ol>
<p>For the time being, I won&#8217;t try to limit how much I eat at my scheduled feeding times. If I start training for a 5k, the 2 rules above should be enough to start losing weight. I&#8217;ve chosen the <a href="http://bluefriday.org/" target="_blank">1st Annual 5k run/walk for C.O.P.S.</a> to be my first race of the year. It&#8217;s May 9th down at the Corning Preserve &#8211; about 3 weeks away. My goal is to weigh 137 pounds on June 10th &#8230; one day before going on vacation to Florida.</p>

Mostly because I don&#8217;t really have anything new to share &#8230; but I figured I should say something.</p>
<p>I reached my weight watcher&#8217;s goal. On August 25th I weighed 160 pounds. This morning I weighed 140 pounds. So now I actually get some points back because I just want to maintain my weight rather than lose any more. I do feel like another 5 pounds is do-able, but I&#8217;m very happy with how I look at the moment, so I&#8217;m going with it.</p>
<p>Motivating myself to run is a bit more difficult now that it&#8217;s cold and dark, but I&#8217;m still running 3 times per week. 3 miles, 3 miles, 4 miles at the moment &#8211; but I&#8217;d like to extend that 4 mile run to 5 miles. I plan to run the &#8220;Turkey Trot&#8221; on Thanksgiving, and then no more 5K races until spring.</p>

I just finished signing up for Weight Watchers for Men Online. Over the next 3 months, the goal is to go from my current 160 &#8211; down to 145. Hopefully, my 5K training is going to be a big help &#8211; but one week into my &#8220;official training&#8221; &#8211; I haven&#8217;t lost a single pound (actually gained 2 pounds). The website is giving me 28 points per day &#8211; should be pretty do-able &#8230; I&#8217;ll keep you posted.</p>
