Comic Books
I don’t know if it was the last episode of Big Bang Theory, past episodes of Heroes, or what … but lately I’ve been researching comic books. I never got into comic books as a kid … and even now I have no interest whatsoever in collecting them, but maybe I’d like to read them from time to time. I hate most magazines I get, so perhaps this could be a new thing for me.
Having seen Serenity and the Firefly TV Series, the comic above (click it to go to the website) seemed like a good place to start, so I head over to Earthworld on Central Ave in Albany and bought it for $3.00. It’s good, true to the movie, but I had no idea they were so short. You can read the entire thing in about 5 minutes. Having never read a comic before, I wasn’t prepared for that.
Anyway, if there are any comic book fans out there reading this – please recommend a good comic that sarcasm heavy … I love sarcasm

Ha! I love you. This just reminded me of that
Comics ehh? interesting, I certainly have nothing to input on this topic never really got into comics, all I ever thought was they were too predictable, but then again I never read many of them…

I read comics as a kid and into college… and maybe beyond: Superman, Batman, Captain America, Daredevil, Fantastic Four, Green Lantern, Hulk, Justice League, Spider-Man. The last one I gave up was Spidey (and lots of sarcasm there).
Somewhere I have a photo of me and a friend, about 10 years old — circa 1958 — with card tables set up and we are selling priceless comics and baseball cards for pennies. Who knew?
I didn’t know that about you, Dad.
That’s awesome
