nothing to blog about

I realize that most bloggers blog about current events. And … well …basically I can’t stand the news – I don’t watch the news – and I have no idea what events are current. That kind of makes me a poor blogger, huh? So what to blog about? I don’t know … I’llthink of something.

In other news, I broke my own code and bought new chess pieces. I told myself I wouldn’t buy another chess until I was ranked 1600. I’m around 1485 at the moment :)

I bought the set cuz it’s on clearance and I was afraid they were going to sell out. I love the set … very stylish.

    So, will you keep it in the box and not use it until you reach 1600?? ;-)

    You said you wouldn’t buy a new set until you reach 1600…. so, you broke your goal and bought it anyways for some rationalized reason… When I do this, part of my rationale would tell me, “I can BUY it, but I can’t USE it until I reach my goal!” but I guess that’s just my warped, guilt-ridden rationale… LOL!!

    no, you’re right … I’m following you … but if I act like I don’t understand … I don’t have to implement such a harsh reality :)

    so funny, I intended to comment saying the same thing that Christa said…but I never knew I was so fluent in chinese…
