winter time
Seems it’s starting to get cold outside … really cold. And for me, this means much less photography than when it’s warm. Although, this year, due to my increase in undesirable body mass, I’m going to make more of an effort to get outside. Ten years ago I could gain 7 or 8 pounds over the winter and then lose it come spring … but that was 10 years ago. Now it’s more like gain 10 pounds over the winter, gain only 5 pounds during the other months – still a constant gain. I need to drop 20 pounds, I’m disgusted with myself. I’ve set a goal for myself to be able to do 100 push-ups (all at once) by January 1st. I haven’t been able to do 100 push-ups since high school. I can do 50 now, perhaps a couple more – so a month should be plenty of time. I’m hoping the increase in activity (multiple sets of 25 and 50 push-ups throughout the day) will up my energy and decrease my appetite – we’ll see how it goes.
Thanksgiving went well. Pro had to work, so she met up with me after work at my mom’s house for dinner. I took some family portraits which I still need to post process. I think they came out ok.
Pro and I went to NYC with some friends on Saturday. We went to Chinatown, Little Italy, ground zero, and Times Square. Fun time, lot’s to see. I took some pictures, but again, still need to get them online. Coming soon.
Pro and I are getting anxious to buy a new house. We’re not liking the apartment so much. We very much want to start having dinner parties. You know, big table full of food and drinks, small groups of good friends – soothing background music (iTunes essentials “dinner party” mix) The money’s in good shape, but our lease isn’t up until the end of May. I may have to look into breaking that early

Hey guys!! I can’t wait to see your NYC photos! You had a great day for it! I hear ya on the apt-house thing… and winter sucks, I agree! We’ll have to get together for some game nights to have some fun! Beth
